Liz Stanton is a senior economist with the Stockholm Environment Institute-U.S. and a research fellow at the Global Development and Environment Institute (GDAE) of Tufts University. An economist with a special interest in environmental policy and in economic inequality, she has focused much of her work on the interplay between climate protection and development.
This blog offers a personal perspective on climate change, economic policy, and the quest for global prosperity and equity. While inevitably, it is colored by the research being done at SEI-US and the insights gained there, it is meant to be broader and more diverse: one economist’s take on the great questions of our time and the heated debates of the day.
